Axis Communications announces an all-in-one bispectral camera offering dual thermal and visual surveillance in one PTZ device. With superior thermal detection and visual verification, it delivers unparalleled situational awareness.

AXIS Q6411-LE Bispectral PTZ Camera uses thermal imaging technology for reliable detection in all weather and light conditions. It has a 55° fixed field of view, ideal for wide, open areas. In addition, NETD <20mK offers extremely high thermal sensitivity with a low false alarm rate. The extremely light-sensitive visual camera offers outstanding visual identification and verification. With 31x optical zoom, it’s possible to follow fast-moving objects. In addition, this bispectral PTZ camera delivers a ground-to-sky view with a tilt range of +20° to -90° and 360° infinite pan.  

Built on ARTPEC-9, the latest Axis system-on-chip, this AI-powered device supports AV1 codec and offers accelerated performance to run impressive analytics applications on the edge. For instance, it comes with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count humans, vehicles, and types of vehicles. It’s also compatible with AXIS Perimeter Defender for enhanced area detection capabilities using thermal technology. Additionally, it includes an orientation aid and autotracking 2 with click and track functionality.

AXIS Q6411-LE Bispectral PTZ Camera is planned to be available through Axis distribution channels by December 2025.
