Axis Communications announces AXIS Secure Entry for XProtect, an all-in-one access control and video surveillance solution that delivers seamless operations for XProtect users. It features a single intuitive interface, allowing users to efficiently manage all door entry, monitoring, assistance, and investigation events.
AXIS Secure Entry for XProtect unites Axis access control and video surveillance. Built into XProtect in the second half of 2025, it’s easy to acquire, deploy, use, and maintain. It’s also well-integrated with XProtect Rules Engine, ensuring automated responses to door entry events and alarms. Additionally, XProtect admin roles can even perform bulk upgrades via XProtect Update Manager.
This scalable and future-proof solution is optimized for any need. It can be used to manage up to 1,000 doors per server, 64 servers in a multi-server system, and up to 50,000 credentials. It supports the full range of Axis network door controllers with flexible installation options either by-the-door or centrally. Built on open standards, it offers great interoperability to add more capabilities by integrating with third-party security systems, such as time and attendance systems. In addition, it offers flexible and secure authentication using different types of credentials such as card or PIN codes, Bluetooth and dynamic QR codes for mobile access, and license plates for vehicle access. And multi-factor authentication ensures enhanced security.
