Axis Communications announces two AI-powered block cameras that ensure consistent performance even in low light. Built on ARTPEC-9, the latest Axis system-on-chip, these powerful cameras offer unmatched performance and help ensure users get the most from their investment.
Both AXIS Q1728 and AXIS Q1728-LE deliver 4K resolution at 60 fps and include a large 1/1.2" extremely low-light sensitive sensor. AXIS Q1728 features a standardized design and offers the flexibility to use various types of enclosures including Axis, third-party housing, and custom enclosures. Compact and lightweight, it includes integrated optics. The other product, AXIS Q1728-LE, is ideal for any outdoor location. It comes with a built-in wiper and front window with carbon nanotube film heater to guarantee great images every time. It also features a standardized enclosure design that can be reused with any Axis block camera.
Both cameras are available in two variants with a choice of lenses: a wide (6-13 mm) lens for surveillance in wide, open areas and a tele (15-48 mm) lens for great details over long distances. In addition, this built-in lens with remote zoom and focus is perfectly calibrated to save time and effort.
These future-proof cameras ensure users have the flexibility to respond to future changes while also preserving the value of their investment. Built on ARTPEC-9, they offer accelerated performance and make it possible to run impressive analytics applications on the edge. For instance, they come with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count humans, vehicles, and types of vehicles.
