Axis Communications announces two top-of-the-line dome cameras offering cost-effective installation and support for advanced analytics based on deep learning. They feature remote pan-tilt-roll-zoom (PTRZ) functionality making it quick and easy to adjust the camera view over the network.

This provides the flexibility and possibility to respond to future changes without the need to dispatch a technician thereby ensuring less disruption and downtime.
Including Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR, these advanced cameras deliver outstanding image quality and forensic details—even in low light. AXIS Q3626-VE offers 4 MP whereas AXIS Q3628-VE offers 8 MP. Built on the latest Axis system-on-chip (SoC), they feature a deep learning processing unit for improved processing capabilities. This makes it possible to collect and analyze even more data than before—on the edge. It also delivers valuable metadata facilitating fast, easy, and efficient forensic search capabilities. Additionally, AXIS Object Analytics detects and classifies moving objects for reliable detection with fewer false positives.

For instance, Axis Edge Vault protects the Axis device ID and simplifies authorization of Axis products on the network.
