Axis Communications announces a dual-sensor, multidirectional camera designed for excellent wide-angle overviews and zoomed-in detailed coverage, around the clock and even in challenging light conditions. This compact camera makes it possible to see in two directions simultaneously.
AXIS P4708-PLVE offers two 4K channels and a frame rate of 30 fps. Featuring Lightfinder and Forensic WDR, it ensures sharp, clear images in challenging or poor light conditions. This AI-powered camera includes a deep learning processing unit (DLPU). This enables improved processing and storage capabilities and makes it possible to collect and analyze even more data than before—on the edge. It also delivers valuable metadata facilitating fast, easy, and efficient forensic search capabilities in live or recorded video. Additionally, thanks to AXIS Object Analytics, it’s possible to detect and classify humans, vehicles, and types of vehicles—all tailored to specific needs.
