Installers, integrators and distribution specialists gathered at Ansty Hall Hotel in Coventry to keep their fingers on the pulse of the latest trends within the network video market.
Technology doesn’t stand still.
As the market leader in network video technology, Axis Communications’ team of developers and engineers are forging the path ahead, determined to innovate smart solutions that respond to customers’ demands for improved safety and greater business intelligence; a smarter and safer world.
That’s why we recently hosted our Technology in Focus Day 2022, a one-day event supporting partners involved in the design, specification, or installation of network video solutions. The focus of the day was to enable attendees to efficiently plan new installations that deliver increasingly smarter solutions.
The event consisted of seven sessions, ranging from technology integration and analytics at the edge to product updates regarding AXIS End-to-End solutions and Bodyworn Cameras. Partners were split into small groups and given the opportunity to visit 6 technology stations throughout the day. This allowed for small, in-depth yet informal demonstrations and Q&A sessions with Axis subject matter experts.
The event was led by Ian James, UK Sales Engineering and Training Manager at Axis Communications. Ian said of the event, “The Technology in Focus Day gave us another tremendous opportunity to meet our partners face-to-face and update them on how our technologies have evolved over the last 12-months. The Axis Channel Partner Programme places great emphasis on supporting our partners and building their technological expertise. Becoming a partner guarantees access to world class support, which is exactly what we wanted to achieve when hosting this event.”
Frank Crouwel, Managing Director at NW Security Group, an Axis Gold Partner, said, “The Technology in Focus event was well-organised and highly informative. Of particular interest was the Axis end-to-end ecosystem offering, which is incredibly comprehensive and clearly developing at pace. With technology constantly evolving, this kind of in-depth update is invaluable for all Axis partners. It was also great to come together with other partners and share experiences. This collaborative industry approach is critical to create more knowledge for the benefit of network video users.”
Ian James concluded, “For the user, harnessing the power of digital transformation within video not only enhances physical security capabilities, but also turns an IP security camera into a wider business intelligence tool. Yes, achieving a conviction relies on effective video technology that helps you see and analyse the required detail in a challenging scene. But there is now clear potential to utilise this technology in further applications. This event was perfect for our partners involved in the design, specification, or installation of security solutions to keep their Axis technical knowledge up-to-date, enabling them to provide their customers innovative new solutions that respond to their business intelligence and security needs.”
