Axis Communications announces the first-ever ruggedized stainless steel dome sensor for modular cameras. Certified for use in food processing and catering facilities, it is enclosed in a stainless steel casing and is the latest addition to AXIS F Modular Cameras Series.
AXIS F4105-SLRE Dome Sensor comes enclosed in a stainless steel (SS 316L) casing. This robust dome sensor is resistant to high-pressure hot water and harsh detergents. Easy to clean and maintain, it is certified by NSF/ANSI to Standard 169 (Special Purpose Food Equipment and Devices) for use in food processing and catering facilities. It is weather-proof, heat-proof, and impact-resistant and can handle temperatures from -30°C to 45°C (-30°F to 113°F). In addition, with NEMA TS2 rating, it can be used in temperatures up to 74°C for 15 hours.
The dome sensor supports up to four HDTV 1080p video streams and offers an excellent 111º field of view for wide area coverage. Forensic WDR provides clarity when there are both dark and light areas in the scene. In addition, IR illumination allows surveillance in complete darkness up to 10 m (33 ft.).
Key features include:
- Up to 60 fps at 1080p and 180 fps at 720p
- Stainless steel casing (SS 316L)
- NFS/ANSI Standard 169 certified
- IR illumination up to 10 m (33 ft.)
- Exchangeable M12 lenses
Based on a divided camera concept, AXIS F4105-SLRE is designed for use with AXIS F91 main units and connects to the main unit using cables up to 30 m (98 ft). It can be combined with all other sensor units within the AXIS F Series, and it is possible to combine up to four sensor units with one main unit for even greater flexibility.
Thanks to the cable options, sensors can be spread out from the main unit for large area coverage. This robust sensor also supports a wide range of exchangeable M12 lens options, which customizes the surveillance from overview to zoomed-in details.
The camera will be available through Axis distribution channels in May 2024.
