Axis Communications, a global leader in network security, has achieved the first QCVN certification for the AXIS P5676-LE PTZ, AXIS P3275-LVE and AXIS P4705-PLVE network cameras in Vietnam. QCVN is a mandatory product certification for technical regulation, stipulated by Vietnam's STAMEQ (Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality) to uphold quality, stability, and safety standards for products sold in the country.
Sheetal Rao, Regional Director, South Asia Pacific, Axis Communications, said, "Cybersecurity is fundamental to everything we build at Axis. Achieving our first QCVN certification in Vietnam is a key milestone that strengthens our comprehensive and constantly growing portfolio of global cybersecurity certifications. Beyond meeting regulatory requirements, it reflects our long-term commitment to supporting customers in Vietnam with solutions that combine local compliance with the high standards of security, quality, and reliability that Axis is known for worldwide."
The regulation, issued by Vietnam's Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), governs cybersecurity requirements for IP surveillance cameras. As of 1st January 2026, all IP surveillance cameras imported or manufactured in Vietnam must hold this certification before entering the market.
YinAnn Woo, National Sales Manager, Malaysia & Vietnam, Axis Communications, added, "Vietnam is a key growth market for us and securing the QCVN certification enables us to continue supporting customers and partners with products that meet the country's evolving regulatory requirements. This milestone also creates a strong foundation for expanding our certified portfolio in Vietnam, ensuring our ecosystem has continued access to innovative, secure, and compliant solutions that help protect what matters most."
