Axis Communications announces the release of two panoramic multisensor cameras in up to 10K horizontal resolution. With seamless stitching of all four images, they deliver smooth and cohesive 180° panoramic overviews for complete situational awareness. These AI-powered cameras also include a deep learning processing unit enabling the use of advanced analytics.
AXIS Q4809-PVE Panoramic Camera delivers 26 MP at 30 fps with 180° horizontal coverage and 45° vertical coverage for ultra clear overviews in great detail. AXIS Q3839-PVE Panoramic Camera delivers 29 MP at 30 fps with 180° horizontal coverage and 90° vertical coverage for ultra clear overviews with no blind spots. Thanks to Axis Forensic WDR, they capture high-quality images even when there’s both dark and light areas in the scene. In addition, lossless zoom makes it possible to zoom in without degrading image sharpness—ideal when tracking objects across great distances. And horizon straightening ensures visually balanced images.
These cost-effective devices offer the benefits of four cameras while paying for just one. Built-in motors enable remote pan/tilt/roll functionality and fast, cost-efficient installation. Additionally, there’s a variety of mounting options available. With a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), it’s possible to run powerful analytics on the edge. For instance, they come with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count humans and types of vehicles. This DLPU also ensures improved processing and storage capabilities so it’s possible to collect and analyze even more data than before. Additionally, it delivers valuable metadata facilitating fast, easy, and efficient forensic search capabilities in live or recorded video.
These cameras can also be paired with an Axis radar device, allowing users to take advantage of AXIS Radar Data Visualizer, a powerful application that adds value to and increases the functionality of Axis multisensor cameras. Using radar data, this application collects and processes radar data and presents it as visual, customizable overlays in the camera feed.
