LPF and Axis focus on advancing loss prevention and asset protection

Axis Communications recently broadened its partnership with The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF), becoming its newest Master level partner. Mutual interests and synergies between retail loss prevention and network security solutions present great opportunities for both organizations. With an advanced partnership level, Axis expects to further its mission of supporting the retail industry and demonstrating commitment to retail loss prevention and asset protection. Founded as a not-for-profit in 2006, the LPF has long served as an international leader in education, certifying retail loss prevention and asset protection professionals.

“Axis Communications has been a long-time supporter of the LPF,” says Terry Sullivan, LPC, President of the Loss Prevention Foundation. “Axis started out at the Associate level, advancing to the Bachelor level in 2018, and now further committing by increasing their partnership to the Master level. Axis’ continued support and level of investment fortifies their dedication to education for the LP industry.”

With an upgraded partnership status, Axis benefits from deeper engagement and an even greater array of resources, including LPQ and LPC certification course scholarships, as well as complimentary LPF memberships for its loss prevention professionals. The new partnership status is expected to further strengthen an already strong partnership between Axis and the LPF and Axis’ role within the extended retail community.

“Being a supporter of the LPF since its inception, advancing our partnership was a natural progression as the Foundation has continued to increase its support of the industry and further drive professionalism in the loss prevention community,” says Hedgie Bartol, Segment Development Manager, Retail, Axis Communications, Inc. “We look forward to our important, ongoing work with the LPF, and a very bright future together.”
