Security Today’s Govie Awards, presented in partnership with GovSec, recognizes outstanding government security products. Axis was named a 2022 winner in two categories: AXIS Q6315-LE PTZ Network Camera earned the Platinum award in the Cameras – NDAA Compliant category, and AXIS Q1715 Block Camera won Gold in the Video Surveillance Cameras – IP category. Loss Prevention Magazine’s Hall Awards is the loss prevention industry’s premier awards program, honoring achievement and excellence across a variety of categories. Axis was named the 2022 Solution Provider – Innovator of the year after initial judging and a community vote. The Globee Information Technology World Awards® honors achievements and recognitions in the information technology and cyber security industries worldwide. The Axis/Salt Lake City Community College (SLCC) project won a Gold Globee Award in the Best Deployments and Customer Success of the Year in USA category of the program. Today, SLCC deploys more than 800 Axis cameras across 10 of its 11 campuses – monitoring entrances and loading bays, hallways and classrooms, testing centers and public areas like libraries, quads, and parking lots. Axis multidirectional and modular cameras have allowed the college to significantly reduce its camera count, cabling costs and licensing while quadrupling the views from a single IP address.
