Channel Development Manager at Singlewire Solutions, Brice Drogosch, joins us on the latest episode of Connect to discuss how mass notification is continuing to evolve.
In the third episode of season four, From Alerts to Action – The Evolution of Mass Notification, James Marcella sits down with Brice Drogosch, to explore how mass notification is shifting from reactive to proactive.
Throughout the episode, Brice shares how today's organizations are increasingly asking for autonomous, high-speed alert systems over traditional manual ones. This changing demand is causing a fundamental shift in the industry, as manufacteurers move away from devices that simply respond to events after they occur and prioritize predictive technology that can help prevent incidents from happening in the first place.
Central to this shift is the integration of AI. While AI is still evolving, Brice makes it clear that it will have a large role to play in mass communications:
AI is going to play a really big role…I think we’re going to really get more into a reactive alert tool, that’s more proactive from all these AI-driven analytics that we can get, right? And I really think we’re going to get more away from human triggers to an autonomous trigger.
Brice also reflects on the lessons he’s learned throughout his career, offering key advice such as the importance of collaboration:
When I talk to some of these [other companies]…, I’ll say, ‘we kind of do some of that, but we do this, and we should look at what we both do best, integrate that, and then we got a real solution.’ And not worry so much, am I your competitor? But rather, what am I trying to solve? And can I solve it better, quicker, doing it this way.
Combining industry insight with personal reflection, this episode of Connect offers a fascinating glimpse into the future of security and mass communication.
