Axis continues its longtime collaboration with Little League Baseball® to help maintain safety and security during historic event.
Axis Communications, the global leader in network video, has supported the Little League Baseball® World Series for 12 years now, working closely with the Little League each year to help provide safety and security measures for players, coaches, fans, and staff.
This year, the tournament has expanded the tournament to allow two more teams from the United States and two more international teams to compete, bringing the total number of participating teams to 20. The addition of more players, coaches, and their families reinforces the need for comprehensive safety and security measures during the event.
Little League has leveraged a variety of Axis products throughout the years to enhance its surveillance plans. These include thermal, panoramic, PTZ, fixed box, and fixed dome network cameras, as well as Axis’ radar technology and perimeter detection analytics. New for this year, Little League will also be using multi-sensor cameras to enable better overall site coverage.
"It is an honor for Axis to continue to support the Little League Baseball World Series, especially in its historic 75th year," said Robert Muehlbauer, Senior Manager, Business Development Partner Ecosystem, Axis Communications. “Sports venues are unique environments that require special considerations, so it’s important to ensure that every measure is taken to provide a safe, secure space where players and spectators can convene to enjoy a world-class sporting event. I and everyone at Axis would like to wish the 20 participating teams' luck in this year’s event!”
With 2022 marking the 75th anniversary of the Little League Baseball World Series, Axis is proud to support such a longstanding event that brings together global communities through sport. Axis looks forward to providing further support in the years to come.
