The National Systems Contractor Association’s (NSCA) panel of judges selected AXIS Camera Application Platform as the most innovative Technology Platform of 2023.
Axis Communications’ AXIS Camera Application Platform 4.0 (ACAP) was recently selected as the top Technology Platform in NSCA’s seventh annual Excellence in Product Innovation Awards. The Excellence in Innovation Awards recognize outstanding products and solutions that have a profound impact on systems integrators. Winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges, including: NSCA’s director of business resources, the editor of Commercial Integrator, and a panel of integrators from across North America.
AXIS Camera Application Platform 4.0 was selected for the new opportunities it offers developers looking to build solutions for Axis devices, engage in computer-vision-based solutions and open a broader offering of applications. Designed to lower the threshold for developers making the move to edge computing, it includes industry-standard APIs and frameworks as well as support for high-level programming languages, significantly reducing proof-of-concept builds and the time necessary to reach production-ready code. The principal update in ACAP version 4 is the introduction of the ACAP Computer Vision software development kit (SDK), which bridges the gap between edge, server, and cloud-based environments.
The Excellence in Product Innovation Awards 2023 were announced on February 28 at NSCA’s 25th annual Business & Leadership Conference in Irving, TX.
