Axis Communications announces three rugged onboard cameras that offer great image quality even in challenging light conditions. With up to 60 fps, they reliably capture fast-moving events – ideal for forward-facing installations that need clear details of what lies ahead.

AXIS M3945-R Dome Camera is specifically designed for inside buses where it delivers great 2 MP image quality. It complies with transportation-industry regulations including UNECE R10, UNECE R118, and IEC 60721-3-5 5M3. The other two products AXIS P3945-R Dome Camera and AXIS P3947-R Dome Camera offer 2 MP and 5 MP respectively. Designed for inside trains and trams, they comply with regulations including EN 50155 and EN45545.

These rugged AI-powered cameras feature a built-in microphone and support for audio-in, making it possible to complement video material with audio. Scene profiles optimize image quality by selecting the right settings for each environment. In addition, different connectors and lens options ensure flexible installation.
