Women in Security Forum

Axis continues to support women in the security industry with specially tailored programs to bring industry leaders together at its Experience Centers.

In honor of International Women's Day, Axis Communications is hosting Women in Security Events at its Chicago and Minneapolis Experience Centers.

The mission of the Women in Leadership forums is to bring together women from across the security industry for an opportunity to discuss how to over-come challenges, get more involved, and grow their network. It is intended to inspire practitioners across the industry, both women and men, to be positive catalysts for shaping the future of the security of industry.

Two great events

Attendees will also get to hear from Mall of America Special Operations Manager, Lauren Genovese as she shares insights into her background in the security industry, overcoming obstacles, and how her team is working to protect this large tourist attraction.

On March 9, Axis will host a second Women in Security forum at its Chicago AEC. Suzanne Monreal, ASIS Chicago Chapter Women in Security chair, will discuss upcoming events with ASIS Chicago Women in Security/NextGen and ways to grow our industry and create future leaders. Next, Gina Bell, a women’s empowerment guide, author, speaker, and workshop host will give a keynote that helps people connect with their dreams from within the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Both events will also include complimentary headshots and an opportunity to network during an interactive happy hour. Make sure to register and invite your colleagues, co-workers, or security industry professionals who may be interested in attending.
