Axis Communications announces a new series of next-generation bullet cameras; AXIS Q18 Series. Including two high-performance cameras, it offers outstanding image quality in up to 4 MP at 90 fps with 32x optical zoom for great details at any distance. Featuring a deep learning processing unit, these cameras enable unique opportunities for analytics based on deep learning.
AXIS Q1805-LE offers outstanding image quality in 2 MP while AXIS Q1806-LE offers 4 MP. With OptimizedIR, they ensure sharp and clear footage in complete darkness up to 100 m (328 ft) without the need for extra lighting. Thanks to Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR, they deliver true colors and great detail in challenging light or near darkness. AXIS Q1805-LE features electronic image stabilization (EIS) to ensure stable images despite vibration. Additionally, AXIS Q1806-LE offers optical image stabilization (OIS) for stable images even in low-light situations.
Built on ARTPEC 8, these high-performance cameras include a deep learning processing unit for improved processing capabilities. This makes it possible to collect and analyze even more data than before—on the edge. They also deliver valuable metadata facilitating fast, easy, and efficient forensic search capabilities. Thanks to AXIS Object Analytics it’s possible to detect and classify moving objects. Additionally, with support for ACAP version 4, it’s possible to add tailor-made applications based on deep learning on the edge available from Axis and its partners.
