Axis Communications has announced AXIS Q1715 Block Camera offering HDTV 1080p at 60 fps and 21x optical zoom for great details at long distances. It ensures the required pixel density and highest image quality for performing analytics and delivers analytics metadata based on deep learning on the edge.
Featuring a deep learning processing unit (DPLU), it enables powerful analytics based on deep learning on the edge. AXIS Object Analytics delivers highly nuanced object classification and reliable detection with fewer false positives.
This lightweight block camera can be built into accessory housings and casings. It includes a serial port for controlling AXIS T99A10 Positioning Unit or pan-tilt motors. With HDMI and HD-SDI outputs, it’s possible to display live video on a public viewing monitor and connect to most video equipment. Additionally, supervised inputs send a notification if the connection is cut.
