Axis Communications announces two IP-based LED illuminators designed to expand the capabilities of Axis cameras and ensure reliable, round-the-clock monitoring. They support PoE and DC power and offer flexible mounting options.
About AXIS D5210/11-E Network White/IR-LED Illuminator
AXIS D5210-E Network White-LED Illuminator is a long-range LED illuminator that adds white light to a camera when needed, providing additional scene illumination, a visible deterrent, and enhanced performance of camera analytics in the dark. It can capture full-color video and forensic details even in pitch darkness, illuminating scenes up to 175 m (574 ft.) away.
AXIS D5211-E Network IR-LED Illuminator, adds and extends IR illumination across a camera’s field of view when needed, enabling cost-efficient surveillance in pitch darkness without the need for extra lighting. It includes power-efficient 850 nm IR LEDs with a range of up to 200 m (656 ft), capturing high-quality, black and white images in complete darkness without visibly lighting the scene.
These LED illuminators are easy to configure, set up, and install, with intensity, light patterns, and angle of illumination all remotely adjustable. Edge-to-edge technology makes it possible to seamlessly synchronize and manage these devices directly inside the camera’s interface. In addition, a built-in, configurable lux sensor enables custom thresholds for fully automatic operations, year-round.

These high-performance, energy-efficient devices can be activated only when needed. With PoE out, they can provide both power and connectivity to an additional device using PoE class 4. Furthermore, Axis Edge Vault safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access.
The illuminators are planned to be available through Axis distribution channels by Q4 2026.
