Axis Communications announces three purpose-tuned LPR camera kits with AXIS License Plate Verifier preinstalled. These robust cameras capture license plates, and under optimal conditions, other vehicle details including type, color, make, and model – all without the need for external servers. 

AXIS P3285-LVE Kit License Plate Verifier is built for slow speed traffic and offers a 2 MP dome camera. It supports vehicle access control with easy allow and block lists management directly on the camera. AXIS P1485-LE Kit License Plate Verifier features a robust 2 MP bullet camera and reliably captures license plates in free-flow traffic. The third kit, AXIS P1486-LE Kit License Plate Verifier, uses global shutter technology to deliver clear images of fast-moving objects with low distortion. It offers a 3 MP bullet camera and captures license plates in free-flow traffic across two lanes.

These out-of-the-box ready kits deliver accurate and highly reliable license plate recognition – even in challenging light conditions. Built on open APIs, they are easy to scale and integrate with Axis and third-party VMSs.
