Axis Communications, a leader in network video, will be exhibiting and speaking at the UITP Global Public Transport Summit, taking place in Barcelona between June 4th and 7th 2023. Axis will showcase its latest transportation solutions and how the company’s integrated security solutions protect passengers, staff, rolling stock, and infrastructure.
In addition, visitors to the Axis booth (7A220) will be able to see how intelligent analytic capabilities also provide public transport authorities and service providers with valuable business intelligence that can be used to improve passenger services as well as operational efficiency.
Axis will be joined on its booth by two partners: cloud-based video surveillance service Observit, and video analytics specialist Imotion.

During the event, Axis will showcase its latest solutions for the transportation sector, including two dome cameras that have been specially designed for onboard surveillance. These rugged cameras can withstand shock and vibrations and ensure high-performance in varied light conditions.
AXIS P3905-R Mk III Dome Camera is specifically designed for onboard monitoring on railway vehicles such as trains and trams, and complies with train standards such as EN50155 and EN45545. AXIS M3905-R Dome Camera, complies with transportation-industry regulations including fire-safety for buses. Both cameras are compact and discreet in design, and offer 2MP resolution. In addition to the solutions featured on its booth, Axis segment development manager for transportation, Jan Engelschalt, will be delivering a speech, “Enhancing Safety and Reliability through Video Surveillance and Digital Solutions”. Jan’s speech will be part of the Digital Solutions and Connectivity for Safer and More Reliable Operations session, which takes place on 6th June from 16:15 to 17:30 in Spotlight Forum B (Hall 6) area.
